Montessori Child Development Center was established in 1978 and is administered by the same director. Marijane Schafer, a trained Montessori teacher and administrator, chooses AMI and AMS head teachers who lovingly prepare the environment and lessons for the children. We are a small school where parents and children are treated with respect. The classrooms are neat and orderly with a full complement of beautiful Montessori materials aesthetically arranged to enhance learning. The back yard is much more than a playground with gardens and small farm animals for the children to observe, learn and care for.
