As a birth doula I recognize the significance of birth in a couple's life. I am well-versed in the physiology of birth and the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of a woman before, during and after birth. I will help you with position that will help encourage baby to come down, engage in the pelvis and decrease the amount of time you spend in labor. I encourage you to explore your birth options, develop a wish list, and establish goals to help you achieve your wishes. I will help you navigate through the process as it unfolds. I do not take the place of a supportive family member or the birth partner. I complete the team by answering questions, giving suggestions, and providing additional supportive care to both of you. My goal is to help ensure you both have a very positive, empowering experience.
