Jones Memorial Church of God in Christ - "LOVE GROWS HERE"
In 1945, in Hamtramck Michigan, at the corner of Caniff and Dequindre, was the site of an empty beer garden. Upon seeing that building was for sale, Elder Alexander Jones visualized a church - "Jones Temple Church of God in Christ". Years later the membership moved into our new edifice located at 19200 Evergreen Road Detroit, MI 48219, February 1989 - Present and dedicated it as "Jones Memoraial Church of God in Christ as a memorial to the late Bishop Alexander Jones. Since January 1999, Jones is under the watchful eye of - Pastor, Supt. Leon R. McPherson, and "The Christian Heritage" continues On and On and On.... TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
