SLTI makes language proficiency tests for the federal government, state governments and for other testing companies.
In most cases, our work is done as a work for hire and becomes the property of the client. We can also deliver tests securely via the WWW. We can subsequently report scores on the test, download test data and conduct statistical analyses, etc. We also evaluate tests developed by others. Another area of our business is the translation of standardized tests from English to other languages. We are the principal provider of this server in North America. We have translated over 450 standardized tests to other languages. We also translate item banks, sometimes consisting of more than 1000 items.
