DuPage Radon Testing, Inc. is a Warrenville based radon measurement company servicing the Chicago suburbs. Established in 1998, we provide short-term residential radon screenings using femto-TECH continuous radon monitors and Rad Elec E-PERM® chambers. Both devices allow us to generate a formal result report the same day the test is completed, making us ideally suited for use in real estate transactions where time is of the essence. A hard copy of the report is mailed to the client. Electronic copies are available to be faxed or e-mailed for faster distribution. There is NO safe level of Radon Gas. Any reading that is NOT below 4.0 pCi/L needs to be remidated. If you are considering buying a house in Illinois, you should have the home tested to determine the level of radon gas in the home. In addition to when you first buy a home, it is highly recommended you have your home re-tested every two years to make sure the levels have not changed. Radon levels change all the time - your home could pass a test at purchase and fail a year or two later. Just like your home could have radon, and your neighbor's home may not.
