In 1982 our business began itself when a stay-at-home mom shared herbal information with friends and family. By 1988 it had grown so much that her husband left a corporate computer sales job to join the business which moved into office space. A year later it expanded to a larger space in the same building, but outgrew that space in another year. Another move provided a place four times larger including a classroom to add classes to the services offered. The business remained there until 1993 and then moved into a retail shopping center location for a five-year lease. As the end of that lease approached, the board of directors unanimously voted to convert the local business into an internet business, thereby able to offer customers wholesale prices and ship within 24 hours (M-F).
