While Dr. Keithline was studying dentistry and working for a general dentist on the weekends, he began to realize that no matter how good at crown and bridgework he became, if you couldn't work on changing the habits of the patient, then the crown and bridgework would only last about 8 years, and have to be re-done.It was at this point in his emerging dental career that Charles Keithline, DDS realized that pediatric dentistry was his calling. He wanted to be able to teach young people healthy habits and how to care for their mouth and teeth, so that they would last a lifetime.
