Theraplay is a multidisciplinary sensory gym in New York City offering pediatric therapy services including; PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY PEDIATRIC PHYSICAL THERAPY PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY CHILDREN'S PLAY THERAPY NUTRITION COUNSELING Our therapists are all highly trained and experienced in the field of pediatrics. Theraplay prides itself on providing individualized treatment to each child in an atmosphere that facilitates progress and productivity. Time is also spent educating families and caregivers to facilitate carryover of therapeutic activities outside of the gym setting. Along with individual treatment sessions, Theraplay offers groups, classes, evaluations, and assessments. We service children through the New York City Board of Education (CPSE & CSE), as well as private pay clients. We are in the process of accepting insurance! EVALUATIONS & ASSESSMENTS Evaluations Theraplay offers private comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language-pathology evaluations for children. Evaluations incorporate standardized and non-standardized assessment tools as well as clinical observation and discussion with the parent or caregiver. The length of an evaluation will be dependent on the needs of each individual child, but are generally 60-90 minutes in length. Assessments Theraplay offers assessments for children in the areas of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology.
