I was initially attracted to the income limits (rentals are below market value) required to stay here. I was a student in school and needed something cheap. At the time of rental, i had no idea it was a seniors complex until after I moved in; a marginal percentage of people can live her who are under 55 years old, and you have the option of attending college part-time without compromising the above requirement.

Some advantages: Every door has a bolted lock, cameras on every floor, and the garbage sanatation is excellent, and there is on-site laundry if you need it. There's about 650 sq. ft. of well maintained space with a patio.

On the whole, I don't reccommend living here for the following reasons:The elevators break down frequently enough so that you will find yourself climbing the stairs-if you live on the higher floors, that consequence could be significant. The drain systems in the building are old-so, my bathtub drain was clogged alot and my bedroom ceiling leaked at one point as well. During the winter months-if you drive, good luck getting your car out of the lot. The plowing is minimal, and residents do get stuck! Finally, some of the residents have bad mental health problems that make it nearly impossible for you to enjoy the rest of the property;they loiter, damage the property, use foul hateful language, they do drugs, and smoke even though its a smoke-free complex, and that isn't enough, they have friends they invite over. As a "remedy", Buffalo Police is on-site part time, but there's only so much they can do. One mental case is evicted and another comes in. You can't take the effect for the cause. There is a reason why this cylcle continues; refer to my first sentence.

It's unfortunate because these beautiful apartments should go to people who want to do well for themselves.
