Founded in 1999, Emerging Technologies Institute (ETI) is licensed by the New York State Education Department and accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. At ETI, our mission is to train our students to become professionals prepared to meet the demands of the ever-evolving work environment. Our students are able to choose from a classroom or online training environment. The online career training setting constitutes the core of ETI's system of distance learning. It offers our students the opportunity to acquire and improve their skills and knowledge at a pace convenient to their current lifestyles and commitments. With the support of a highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty, ETI offers postsecondary academic programs to train students for entry-level employment and for career advancement opportunities.Our multi-course programs are all approved by the New York State Education Department and are designed to reflect the needs of our students.ETI’s programs are centered around complete student development and have been carefully developed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to function efficiently and effectively in a workplace setting. ETI makes every effort to attract a cultural and ethnic diversity of students to enrich their learning experience and to prepare them for the likely work environments they will encounter upon completion of their studies.While student success is at the core of its mission, ETI recognizes that, ultimately, students must assume responsibility for their own learning and that the role of instructors is to facilitate that learning.
