EnvirOx, LLC was started in 1995 as a research project with the primary objective of developing a cleaning technology that would reduce toxicity in a meaningful way. As a secondary objective, the company wanted to reduce the use of packaging materials, energy, and landfill space by performing all or most of the general janitorial cleaning tasks with one, concentrated product. They also recognized that most people will not sacrifice cleaning power for a safer, more environmentally preferable product, and therefore the product must work as well as, or better, than existing technologies.
