Fabric 'n Notions is the global venture of Threads of Time, based in Danville, Illinois. With this new site, we aim to provide the same warm, customer-friendly atmosphere that has become one of Threads of Time's defining traits. Established in 2006 by Bill and Missi Gouty, Threads of Time was created out of an abandoned nursing home. Now the front section of the nearly 16,000 square foot building draws creative people from all over the United States. The large, one-level facility allowed the development of an educational and retreat center where sewists and quilters can work for extended periods of time in the company of friends. Now we are once again expanding- this time into the world of online retail. We hope to also see you soon at our brick and mortar store or our retreat center!
