Business description
I get old retired firefighter turnouts, wash the hell out of them then I make bags out of them.
A HUGE amount of work goes into making these bags. I buy the old turnouts in bulk and wash them for about a week. Each turnout gets washed and hung dry three times. I make duffel bags, purses, diaper bags, wine bags key fobs and phone pouches. I put a great deal of work and pride in my work and I refuse to mail out an item that does not reflect that. I love to make these bags, but they are crazy work. I am a mother of four children ages 2-7. My husband is a SDFD engineer. My web site is www.firefighterturnoutbag.com and I am also on etsy. www.etsy.com/shop/rasorsharp
