Business description

First Baptist Church of Wellsburg, WV is nationaly a part of the ABC, is a part of the Panhandle Association, and the West Virginia Baptist Convention

Our Church has been in existence since 1811, and we are here to serve our Community of Wellsburg with the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ. As we minister within our Community, our State, and our Nation, and our World, we go with the Gospel of Christ. As we share the Gospel of Christ we are sharing a three fold aspect of it. We share the Mission of Christ, to go into the whole world; the identy of Christ, as the Son of God, the Savior of the World, the One and Living God; and we share the call of Christ, to call each one of us to accept Him as our Savior and our Lord. That call of Christ continues as He calls us unto service for Him. We are to love God and love our neighbor as we love we love ourselves.
