ABOUT FSSI First Security Systems was founded as an investigation firm in 1999 by Brent and Lee Sandlin and operated from their home until January 2003. In 2005, it was expanded to include the security guard business and has since grown from two employees to more than forty full- and part-time security officers, investigators, and office staff. In 2009-2010, in an effort to separate from other security companies, First Security invested in a professional trainer with an extensive background in martial arts to upgrade the security staff to Level 3 armed guards and personal protection officers.
