Our officers are a mixture of off duty/retired law enforcement and highly trained security personnel. All of our officers are armed.

Flagship Security Co., LLC. is a Shelby County based Contract Security Company organized in 1998 under the laws of the State of Tennessee. The sole mission of our company is to provide a superior level of service in the process of protecting both the assets and safety of those we serve.Flagship Security is staffed by highly motivated and dedicated officers.Flagship Security is owned and operated by Joe E. Gurley, Sr. who is retired from the Shelby County Sheriff's Department with over thirty-five (35) years of active service. During his tenure with the department he served in almost all areas of the facility and was instrumental in the initiation and development of several programs that are now adopted as standards of operating procedures within the State of Tennessee.
