We provide expert analysis of documents in question and, if necessary, testify to our opinions in court. Besides authenticating handwritten text and signatures, we can decipher obliterated or altered text, develop indented writings to determine hidden information, and differentiate inks in questionable entries. As forensic document examiners, our knowledge and skills also encompass printing processes, photocopiers, desktop printers, paper, ink, color spectrometry, and micro-photography. Most commonly we are asked to determine whether or not person A authored a given writing. Recently we are seeing more document alteration cases in which we are asked to determine, when, how, who or what devise could have made the changes to the document.
