Roller derby is taking the nation by storm. Every day, more and more women and girls are finding their place in the world - in the rink! While we aren't the roller derby of the 70's with all the throat punching and clotheslining, we are still a group of empowered, strong, in-your-face women. We'll knock each other down, give her the bruise of a lifetime and then buy her a beer afterwards. We'll dress derby (booty shorts, fishnets and knee high socks!), go to practice, then do our grocery shopping afterwards - because derby makes us confident enough to do so.
