Business description
Glass art: Dragonflies, butterflies, night lights and faries are just a few of my creations to dazzle the eye with sparkle.
Artist: Retta Grace... I was born in Lubbock, Texas. Relocated to Washington because of its lush beauty, mountains, water and moderate climate. In Seattle I followed my career in printing. 1982 I took my first stained glass class. Like many beginning artists, I worked with lead and copper foil. Instantly I fell in love with the art. Working with glass and making unquie pieces gave me a release from stress and a peace of mind. Stained glass was only a hobby until 2006 when I chose to end my career in printing and focus solely on my art. Since then I have been able to expand my knowledge and skills to include warm glass and making of fused art glass. Dragonflies and butterflies have become my specialty. Each is a one of a kind, precisely cut and assembled by hand. They are a direct result of my love for the outdoors and desire to decorate my garden and yours with sparklely yard art. They also work great indoors as well. Image using them as wall art, window dressings or that special addition to a dried flower arrangement. Also, I have designed fused night lights and glass faries.
