Great Explorations Children's Museum is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to stimulate learning through creativity, play and exploration. Founded in 1986, the Museum draws educational content from the arts, sciences and humanities with programs and exhibits that encourage creative thinking, problem solving and discovery. The 24,000 square foot facility operates a licensed preschool and VPK program on premises and partners with fellow institutions in support of philanthropic efforts throughout the Tampa Bay area. Great Explorations is open daily from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. More information can be found at www.GreatEx.org.
