Groton Timberworks is a small timberframing company located in northeastern Vermont. We pride ourselves on unique, custom designs of timber homes and barns. Started in 1991, Groton Timberworks has hundreds of custom creations, ranging from small starter homes to lakeside residences. We also have cut many smaller structures such as pergolas, sheds and a variety of outbuilding to be used for a wide range of activities. All of our buildings are constructed using time tested methods of tradition mortice and tenon joinery, fastened using hardwood oak pegs.
