Business description

This Habitat ReStore provides funding for Habitat for Humanity Allegheny Valley, a non-profit, for its housing ministry.

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by building, renovating and repairing houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends. All profit from the Habitat ReStore goes back into the affiliate to accomplish these goals. Habitat for Humanity Allegheny Valley has been in the Upper Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties since 1997 when it began building its first home in New Kensington and has since completed 19 homes in the US and almost 40 in Guyana, South America through the tithe to HFHI of ten percent of undesignated funds. HFHAV is governed by a volunteer board of directors.
