Health benefit advisers to business owners and individuals.
HealthcareShopper.com, a private health insurance exchange, was founded in 1998 to fill a need to provide a source of information for individuals and small businesses who were shopping for health insurance benefits. These shoppers needed to be able to compare prices among several health insurance companies and to compare health plan benefits on an apples-to-apples basis. So we created spreadsheets similar to those used by HR professionals. The internet provided the perfect way for individual health insurance shoppers to access the health plan and rate comparison tools that we developed.
