Health Tek Services provides service and repairs for most physical therapy and chiropractic equipment. And performs annual safety testing and calibrations on ultrasound, E-stim & Laser. Most of these services can be done onsite. We also install and assemble tables, multi station gyms, bikes, treadmills and other fitness equipment. Health Tek has certified factory technicians for Chattanooga & Sports Art Fitness. These devices employ a piezo-electric quartz crystal to generate the ultrasonic energy needed. The inherent design requirements, the stringent manufacturing tolerances, and the physical changes which naturally occur in the quartz due to wear and tear, require regularly-scheduled calibration of the sound-power output levels of the transducers (see the manufacturers user's manual).
