Homesteads

The Homesteads are a group of five small Family Type Homes for Adults providing an alternative Assisted Living choice for the elderly.

The Homestead's intent is to provide safe, secure, warm, loving, clean and attractive homes, filled with an extended family that care for and about each other. Our caregiver ratio is at least one caregiver for four residents, due to our homes accepting no more than six adults needing assistance in each home. We have four homes located in Apalachin and one in Endicott.Our 24 hour supervision provides daytime assistance with all ADLs, medication management, activities, and many other needed services, all in small, secure homes. At night, all residents have an emergency call system in place, and night-time bed checks are done in our secure, safe and loving homes. The Homesteads welcome our elderly population who need assistance and supervision and many levels of care are welcome including dementia clients. We provide secure yards with lovely gardens, porches and decks available for our resident's to enjoy.The Homestead's also prepare home cooked meals with deserts and also provide special meal management for those having special dietary concerns. We accept many different levels of care and provide assistance for those with many elderly associated illnesses.
