Yet I felt very snubbed from the staff and overall walked out with less gas in my vehicle and NO HELP!
I have been a resident in this community my entire adult life and ONLY use services when my family is in need meaning once in three years and before that was again once in several years. I am a college student and trying to get my three girls involved in programs through the city and was told I could have food but would have to commit to a 9 WEEK CLASS which takes place on Thursdays of every month so in other words I could choose h.n.s. or my required college class? .... ummmm no brainer! Needless to say I found the attitude of the staff to be condescending and closed minded! I also know that private citizens donate to the scholarship programs NOT STATE FUNDED program! So much for trying to keep my daughter's involved in the safety nets my community offers as I try and mold them into PRODUCTIVE ADULTS WHO FEEL healthy and connected! Absolute joke!
