Many small repair companies are not tested and certified. When Brian first meets a customer he works to get an idea of how the customer uses the computer and their level of their computer skills. This allows him to advise them on the best course of action on a repair or to purchase new equipment. It also leads him to advise them on how they use their computer since most people know how to use a computer, but they do not know the best ways to use one. This often leads to customers asking more questions and Brian taking them by the hand to know their computer better with tips and tricks which make using the computer much less frustrating. Once someone is a customer they know that they may contact Brian with those questions they always felt dumb asking anyone else because Brian knows that everyone has those questions. And quite often Brian is told that having those questions answered is as important, or more important than fixing their initial issues. People say that using Brian for their computer issues is like having their own IT guy on hand everyday.
