I remember going to TG & Y as a small child and watching her as she cut fabric for customers. She used to bake pies and cookies and quilt. She had a gift of creating clothing with no pattern. She made suits for my father, dresses for my mother and I. I have a great love for quilts and love to just wander around the fabric stores touching all the different fabrics. I love aprons I think it's because she loved to bake and sew and that is why I create aprons. I love all things crafty and that is why I work on other items too. I have dogs myself a boston terrier and a french bulldog. The french bulldog loves to lay in the sun, however girls best friend the boston is always by my side. So that is why I create in honor of my Nanny who we all loved dearly. She had a black singer treadle sewing machine. I to use a Singer and the hum of the machine reminds me of her.
