I Bork & Sons

In 1948, a year aftermy Dad's passing, I discovered I Bork and son iron yard. Short of cash but rich on iron junk (the landlord had just replaced the failing coal furnace), i realized my way to financil salvation was by selling the iron to Bork.I was 12 years old, didnt even have a wagon, but collected a ragtag group of fiends with wagons, and acting as"wagonmaster", convinced them that if thy would help me, I ould buy them an ice crea cone.( 5cents in 1948) yes,18wagons of ion was worth about weeks wages for laborer,and I combed the alleys for th next few weeks, becoming a successful trader. I dont rememberthe name of my contact at Bork's, but I think it was Issac who taught the most valuable lesson of my life. First time there I realized I was lost and Issac said " What direction did you come from?"

I pointed, and Issac said " go that way until yu recognize where you are, then go home frm there"

It worked. I got home, and I realized later in ife the wisdom of the stateent, not Only for physical location, but also for mental confusion or psycological help. I wish good luck and happy times to all the Bork faily and business. It made a benefical differrence in My life. 85 now.
