Idyll Hours Gallery and Bistro

Idyll Hours is a gallery exhibiting original paintings and photographs, a cozy little bistro, and a small gift shop.

Idyll Hours is a little "hideaway", in a country setting, about a mile south of Mountainburg, Arkansas. The gallery and bistro combination offers a unique blend of atmosphere and popular dishes (such as "Monster Wraps", Lasagna and Spaghetti). While we strive to serve great food, our first love is Art. On exhibit are creations of local artists. Each month we have a different "Guest Artist of the Month", as well as our permanent collection. Paintings and photographs often depict local area scenery and people. We're the home of the "Mountainburg Art Group" - working artists who meet every Monday from 10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. to share ideas and inspiration, (new members welcome). There are also gift items, such as prints and jewelry, for sale. Join us for a unique experience.
