Ikonen Mold Design has been supplying detailed mold designs since 1995. We have extensive design experience in single and multi-cavity tooling with varying complexity ranges. Molds requiring side actions(mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic), insert over molding, unscrewing, varying plate control systems, 3 plate, hot runner, cold runner(silicone) are all typical applications that we work with each day. My experience in molds began as a toolmaker which I quickly became the toolroom supervisor which is a position I held for 13 years. I made daily decisions on design intent for both new and existing molds and actively worked with molders in processing. I have knowledge not only on the moldmaking side of the buisness but in the molding as well. This is helpful in developing working mold design
