My name is Michael Sater and I own and operate Indiana Clockworks. I started Indiana Clockworks in February 2002. I was a computer tech for 13 years. One night, I opened a box in the house and in it was a mantle clock case and a clock movement that had been taken apart and put in a bag. I am very mechanical, so I thought if all the parts were there, I could put the clock back together. Well, I did. That was almost 10 years ago. I love clock repair. I love bringing old clocks back to life. When you bring a clock back to life, it's as if you brought someone's family member back from the dead. The emotions that come pouring out and the stories I hear are incredible and are always worth it.
