As of August 2013, I.P.M.A. is now headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan. Total body workout (cardiovascular, strengthening, flexibility, weight-loss/toning) and practical self-defense. Striking and kicking, controls, chokes, throws, ground-fighting, weapons, meditation. Methods focus on using the attacker's energy against them, making the art ideal for men and women regardless of size or strength. Training is conducted in a safe, motivating, non-competitive atmosphere. Separate programs for youths and adults. Classes are offered 6 days per week. Private instruction is available.
