began baking birthday cakes for my brothers when I was 12 years old...using the old mickey shaped Wilton's pans, lol. I remember mixing icing colors and my hands turning orange for days! 10 years later, I found myself in my kitchen, baking cakes for my own kids. I moved on from Minnie pans and began carving and stacking cakes, usually ending up with a wonderful creation and also a ridiculous amount of leftover cake! As friends and family began to see and taste these over-the-top cakes, they began asking me to make things for them and THEIR friends, thus giving birth to Inspiration Custom Cakes! Four years later, we are still a home-based bakery, though bursting from our seams! We are hoping to open our own shop local to Ashburnham in the next year, while taking as many orders as possible!
