Dr. Don James is in internal medicine, and has extensive experience in medical endoscopy, electrocardiography and critical care. Dr. James also has widespread knowledge of successfully managing an independent private practice. Dr. James graduated from medical school at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 1972, and completed his residency in internal medicine from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine in 1975. Dr. James also served as the Chief Resident and Instructor in Medicine at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Medicine from 1974-1975. Dr. James currently serves as Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs/Chief Medical Officer at Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
