Welcome, I'm Jeff Mathews, CPA and would like to share with you our firm information, and why we do what we do. Of course you may know I am a Louisiana Certified Public Accountant, but let me share some things you may not know. I served six years in the Louisiana Army National Guard. During that time I pursued a college education from McNeese State University. I graduated twice. The first time was to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, the second my Master's in Business Administration. I began working in public accounting in 1997, the last two years of my initial accounting degree. I have also worked for a large publicly traded company in corporate / managerial accounting. I began my own practice in April of 2002. I had only one client, but knew what I wanted. I wanted to help business owners build the business of their dreams.I saw so many businesses with great ideas, but could not transfer those ideas to a bottom line. I pledged to change that, so our Greater Lake Charles area CPA firm began, and has grown to a team of professionals you will see today. We have a passion for business. I personally love the "game" and always look to ways to do better in business, for both myself and my clients. Join us in the quest!
