Jill Milan uses only non-animal based fabrics and contributes to numerous charities that benefit animals. A portion of proceeds from many items go to animal welfare charities and, in February 2014, fine artist, Julius Lumsden, created a sketch of a thoroughbred horse to benefit Southern California Thoroughbred Rescue.
