Industrial Design with a Focus on VIP Aircraft Interiors
Jim Murphy has over 15 years of design experience in VIP aircraft completions. This experience includes working globally with major private completion centers such as Gore and Comlux. Jim has the ability to consider both the technical and certification requirements while developing unique designs. He has provided design services in a multitude of industries. While at Gore Completions and Comlux America, he was instrumental in defining the design process that is becoming the standard in the industry for VIP aircraft. He also developed internal processes and 3D tools that were used to streamline communication to the client as well as engineering. Jim has a BFA degree in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology and has private pilot ground school training.
