Joshua's Quest is a community outreach and non profit organization. My wife and I have developed a program to manage permanent housing opportunities.
Our mission at Joshua's Quest is to teach our children through scripture, photography, carpentry, bicycle assembly and repair, lawn maintenance/landscaping. For older boys and young men we will be building 50 gallon drum bbq pits from scratch, and lawn mower repair. Field trips will consist of the Detroit Zoo, Lansing, Belle Isle, Delray, Downtown Detroit, Mexican town, homeless shelters, and nursing homes. Also our shelter is 6-12 month stays one or two family shelter a simple home fully furnishes. One of the conditions during your stay is that the person save up their money throughout the 6-12 month stay with us. We have a 25/50/25 program it goes as follows: 25% of your gross income goes to you 50% goes into the bank to save and the 25% goes to the house to help with lights, gas, etc.
