Specialty contractor and company founder, Jesus Venegas, was born and raised in Ventura County. Jesus worked 12 years for other ornamental metals work shops throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. He not only gained experience but expertise in custom iron work, stainless steel, polished brass and powder coating finishes. Jesus' fabrication skills and attention to detail became widely known by other contractors. These contractors would hire Jesus knowing that the projects would be completed in a timely, trouble-free manner and with the highest degree of quality. After jobs were completed all glory for Jesus' work would go to the contractors. Having worked long enough for others, Jesus boldly decided to begin his own custom iron work shop. JV Custom Iron was founded in October 2010. Today, JV Custom Iron is a family owned and operated business, licensed and bonded, with highly skilled craftsmen and shop foremen, Built on the same commitment to quality work that Jesus has always had and the same values; quality work at fair market prices, strong ethics, and honesty.
