Business description

We specialize in teaching today's children as well as teen and adults how to defend themselves in their daily lives. Our students learn

We specialize in teaching today's children as well as teen and adults how to defend themselves in their daily lives. Our students learn self-defense from the martial arts of Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do and grappling. While learning self-defense at Kang's be prepared to enjoy a great workout while studying valuable self-defense skills. There is no limit to what a person with inner-strength, self-confidence, and a supportive community can accomplish. Strength: students receive vigorous physical training, which improves health, coordination, and overall athletic ability. But, the real strength we develop through our training comes from within. Inner-strength provides the ability to stay positive, focused, and to persevere. At Kangs Martial Arts we challenge ourselves when we train; we try, fail, and try again because we know that both on and off the mat some of the most worthwhile endeavors involve failures along the way. When we spar, break boards, do a new form or self-defense before the class we challenge ourselves to focus on what we know and let go of the fear of "getting it wrong" in front of others. Confidence: At Kangs Martial Arts every student follows the same curriculum, however, each student has his/her own training path. We work at different paces; have different styles, abilities, and challenges. The essential lesson of the curriculum is to strive for your personal best. Confidence comes from embracing this lesson. It doesn't matter if you kick higher or harder than others as long as you are kicking as high and hard as you can. Our training partners are here to support us, not to be our measure of achievement. Self-confidence makes students true training partners to one another as they support, assist, and cheer for their classmates to be their best, too.
