Working to get inmates in California the information and resources they need to ensure that their rights are protected as per the Prisoners Rights Act of 2008, as well as those that are still protected via the US Constitution, such as the right to practice any religion or spiritual practice, and the right to be safe from cruel and unusual punishment. They also have a right to due process. We as a volunteer and not-for-profit local business which expanded its range to the entire State after just the needs of one inmate came to the attention of the Founder, and those needs were eventually able to be negotiated and met. The bias was based on his choice of spiritual practice and religion, one that this business is loosely also associated with promoting.
