Recent experience to refinance home a disaster. We were misled by bank employee and mortgage manager we conferenced with at bank over phone. Credit scores over 800 and home appraised by their appraiser at 3 times amount being financed and denied and no one seems to know why or has a different answer every time we ask. Their home loans are sold to Northeast US companies which do not share guidelines and have multiple middle managers who do not have a clue as to what is going on. PHH mortgage company that we were assigned to has so many complaints and legal judgements against them (16 million in just one case) that had we known this was who would handle our loan we would never have agreed to go with Key. BUYER BEWARE YOU WILL NOT BE DEALING WITH A LOCAL BANK AND A FEW PERCENTAGE POINTS WILL NOT MATTER!!
