It saddens me to see goods produced overseas when there are a lot of wonderful crafts people right here in Maine. These Maine artisans are filled with same passion and creativity that encouraged me to open lalo. It only made sense to tap in to this local resource. Consequently, given our economic situation, I felt like I was doing my part to aid in helping the local economy. It then became more apparent that this was what I needed to do. lalo is all things local. Everything sold in the boutique is made right here in Maine.
