Michael Lamkin, RPT. Registered Piano Technician, PTG. Tuning, Repairs and Piano Humidity Control / Certified Installer of Piano Life Saver systems.

I started out in the late 70's as an apprentice at New England Piano Craft in Hollywood, FL, a piano rebuilding shop, while simultaneously working on technical studies at Aubrey Willis School, Orlando, FL. Moved to the Albany capital district and joined the Piano Technicians Guild in 1981 and attended many conferences, seminars, and technicals. Studied and passed my examination for Registered Piano Technician (at the time, it was called Registered Craftsman member). I have focused primarily on field work over the years and have developed a large clientele in most areas of Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady and Saratoga counties. I have always been an advocate of piano humidity control and have installed many Dampp-Chaser Piano Life Saver piano humidity control systems. More recently in the last few years I passed my examination for Certified Installer from Dampp-Chaser Electronics. My business ethic has been to serve and educate the customer.
