Lancaster C.A.R.E.S. is an organization of not-for-profit animal welfare groups funded by donations from pet lovers like you. These organizations depend on support from the community to rescue, rehabilitate and solve animal welfare problems.One of our organization's primary goals is to help our members have a "voice" in the animal community they so faithfully support. So often, large state and national animal welfare organizations receive the vast majority of the attention and support. These well-funded organizations do valuable work and are indeed deserving of the attention they receive, but we think smaller organizations deserve to be recognized too.
