We requested a quote and were given one. He did not answer our emails and requests for more information then went ahead and installed dirt and sod in our yard anyway without a contract based only on his quote only. He did less than half the work and less than half the materials he quoted. I tried to explain that we were not ready yet, but he kept interrupting me and being rude and said he would show up the next day to discuss it. He did not show up and did not contact us for a week, then lied saying he had been trying to get a hold of us. We took the high road and tried to work out a solution to either pay for work he did so far or finish the job to satisfaction for full amount, but he decided to come back to our yard and take back all the sod and dirt he put in without our knowledge or approval. Now half our front and side yard has no sod at all, even though it did before.
I filed against him twice at the BBB since I thought this was a scam.
