Leave Out Violence (LOVE) helps youth prevent, reduce and respond to violence by becoming peer advocates of non-violence in their communities.

LOVE youth have all been victims, witnesses, and/or perpetrators of violence. They are a diverse group with distinct voices. Their lives have been shaped by bullying and fighting, assaults in their communities, gang recruitment, self harm, attempted suicide, domestic violence and dating violence. Many live in predominantly low-income communities across NYC’s five boroughs.At LOVE U.S., youth use media arts to process their negative experiences and reach their full potential. We provide expert guidance, a safe and supportive environment, and leadership opportunities.
