I had Mr. John Daversa's company Legend Restoration replace 2 roofs on my house. The vents are not installed properly. They came off the roof, and I still have a leak in my wall that he was supposed to repair. He made me feel like he did more work for me than he actually did, I have found issues with the work and have been trying to get him to correct it since February 2015. The work was done 12/2014. He still has not corrected the work and the 5 year warranty he gave me on the work is not worth the paper it is written on, I have left multiple messages and text for him with no response. He will eventually respond to this and make himself look like he has done no wrong and the issue is on my side, He will also bad mouth me. Do not believe it. He had a similar issue a few years ago and he did not correct it until he was forced to. I have spoken to an attorney and he stated suing him will not help and I should file a complaint with the state of CT Department of Consumer Protection within the next week against him and have his license revoked. I have already had someone here to inspect the job in the last week and was told the job was not done as per the estimate and some corners were cut in the process. He did not install flashing between the lower roof and the house so water is still leaking down the wall inside the house and now I have MOLD in my family room. Please do not believe what he will say in his response, He has a few issues going on that I will not talk about now but will release at a later time if this work is not corrected. He is treating me like I am a criminal when he was the one that was paid to do work he has given me a 5 year guarantee on and I have been trying since 2/2015 which was 1 month after he finished the job to get fixed and he has not fixed. He has been to my house 2 times and stated he was coming back to fix it but has made no attempt.
