Lemon Twist began in 1980 as an idea of two newly graduated college best friends looking to start up a new business together. Katie Shull and Trudy Tunstall, began selling their farm fresh produce along the scenic and verdant Del Dio Highway, just outside Rancho Santa Fe.A year later, they built their first shop at the current site of Lemon Twist, a charming, wooden fruit stand, full of all of the best local fruit, honey, vegetables and flowers they could find from the family ranch, and local farms. It continued to grow and have a loyal local following, as well as visits from tourists visiting sites such as the Wild Animal Park and the beautiful Lake Hodges area.After a brief 3 year closure, due to the horrific wildfires of 2007, the new Lemon Twist is now just about complete, and
